Today was my father’s birthday. This year, he would have been 80.
My dad was far from perfect. He was a school psychologist. Yeah, the irony of that has never been lost on me. I was, putting it mildly, a difficult child. But, in spite of that, we still managed to have our moments. Even though my mother tried her best to prevent them.
I miss him. Sad.
Hugs. My dad turned 80 on his last birthday. However, my mom didn't make it past 58. She would be 79 next month. I almost forgot her birthday was so close until I was reading your blog. Like you miss your dad, I miss my mom so very much.
