Brava!

I went to see Eva May in her final high school performance tonight. This year’s show was The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet. It was hilarious and so well done. Very impressive.

Eva was Thing 1, a starring role as one of the narrators. It was perfect to show off her talent and energy. I so proud. She was spectacular! And so adorable.

I have to tell you it’s been an honor and a privilege to be able to watch her grow over the years. She was a cute kid and is now a lovely young woman. She’s about to graduate from high school and head off to college. I can’t wait to see where her future leads. One thing is for sure. The world hasn’t seen the last of her!

Happy weekend all!

Bravo!

I went to see Eva May in her school show Friday night. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Unfortunately, she doesn’t really sing so she had a small part but still, it was okay. The kids did a great job and they looked like they were having fun, which is what I think is most important.

It’s been wonderful, watching Eva mature as a performer over the years. She’s always loved being involved in such things. At the beginning, back when she was a small child, she was a bit timid. Now, she radiates with confidence. She’s comfortable with lines, knows what’s expected of her, is capable of compensating if needed and it shows.

I think she’s planning on auditioning for the summer show and then next year will be a play, not a musical so I’m looking forward to seeing more of her on stage. Whatever role she gets, I’ll be there, cheering her on as always and so proud to call her my friend.

Tired and Storming

Adventure today with my young actress friend, Eva May. I'll tell you all about it tomorrow but here's a hint. Lady coach driver, performing waiters and a singing crustacean.

In the mean time, you'll be happy to know the post office is now in possession of my rubberbands. Maybe the price of postage will be delayed an extra four days before going up next time.
