Yes? No?

First, I want to thank everyone for the hugs. You guys are the best!

Second, I want to thank my on-line buddy for stepping up and answering all my car questions. What you said made a lot of sense and I will be scheduling an appointment post haste.

Speaking of my on-line buddy, I have a dilema. You see, we've been chatting for about a year now. We've discussed practically everything. I know his family squabbles and he knows the disaster that is my life. We've bolstered our spirits, cheered our individual progresses and laughed together. The only thing we haven't done is meet face to face.

The planets have aligned and we now have the opportunity to say hello in person. Gulp! Talk about nervous! The final decision is mine and I'm torn. On one hand, I would like to sit down and watch his expressions as we speak. On the other, I'm afraid it will make our friendship awkward. Though I doubt it's possible, there is always the chance that we won't like each other "live". If that's the case, I'm afraid I'll lose my valued friend. Or what if we do like each other? Then what? It's not as if he lives on the other side of the country but he's not next door either.

So what would you do? And yes, he'll be stopping by to see your advice. He's the one who suggested I ask my other on-line friends!

Okay - reading your blog I can tell he is helpful, sweet, wise, compassionate and funny. What a bastard! But seriously...what the hell are you asking us for? You have already made up you mind. I can see that by your words. Take a chance - see the man. We want to live vicariously through you. Do it!!!!!! And we want a full report - or else!

Barb, That looks like two yeses so far!

Yes JK but I am very pushy and mine makes up at least 3 votes in itself - so that's 4 yeses all together. Added to that I have called reinforcements

So, when you meet him, which you will, are you going to wear the cape? Because the cape has magical powers. Plus, I think he would really like it.

Reinforcements? Don't scare the man AJ. I'm leaning towards yes already. Hm, would like to hear what the reinforcements have to say though.

Um, I don't know if he's ready for magical powers D. Me actually showing up might be enough to overwhelm him.

I'm not the one meeting him and if he scares easily I would have to re-think my urging you to go...though having a tame man is also good...

I say GO FOR IT!!! And that's an order, Miss Barb!

What have you got to lose? If he can't handle meeting you in person, then....? Go for it, kid! And this is Mama Anny. I wanna know how it goes!

I am a lot of things, reasonably intelligent, reasonably good looking, honest, handy, kind, thoughtful, and I can even cook. I am defiantly not scared of many things and I am pretty sure no one would use the word tame to describe me. I think you will have to wait till Sunday to find out what Barb thinks!

Yep, I'm going. Just need to figure out a place to meet and we're all set.

Go meet him. I met the love of my live and my husband from chatting online. By now you know him better than if you had been distracted by physical attraction. Meet him. You already know you work well together even as friends.
