Art Around Reading

I went for a wander today and found a bunch of murals scattered around Reading that I thought were cool enough to share with you. The first is at Eunie's Garden, a project sponsered by the Boscovs that attempts to add patches of green to vacant lots. The second is on the side of a strip mall. You can't see it on this picture but there is a story that likens bird migration to people and how the journey they undertook to get to Reading. The third and fourth were painted by the kids that are involved in a local boys and girls club. The next seems to have been painted independently by a group of children. The following is the side of a small deli. The last two are two sides of a playground building that's across the street from a firehouse.

Pretty cool, huh?
